Error 80072ee6: You can't sign in to Windows Live Messenger
You may be unable to sign in because of an error with the DLL file.
To reregister the Msxml3.dll file on your computer:
In Windows XP, click Start, and then click Run.
— or —
In Windows Vista, click the Start button, and then click in the Start Search box.
Type %windir%\system32\regsvr32 %windir%\system32\msxml3.dll, and then press ENTER.
Click OK.
Wait a few minutes, and then try to sign in again.

You can't sign in because of a problem with your Secure Socket Layer (SSL) cache or your DLL files.
To resolve these issues:
In the notification area of the taskbar, click the Messenger icon , and then click Exit.
Clear your Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) cache.
On the taskbar, click Start, and then click Control Panel.
Click Network and Internet Connections or click Network and Internet.
Click Set up or change your Internet connection or click Internet Options.
Click the Content tab.
Under Certificates, click Clear SSL State.
Click OK.
Reregister the DLL files that are associated with Cryptographic Services.
For Windows XP:
On the taskbar, click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type regsvr32 softpub.dll wintrust.dll initpki.dll.
Click OK.
When you receive each confirmation, click OK.
After the third confirmation, restart Messenger and try to sign in again.
For Windows Vista:
On the taskbar, click Start, type regsvr32 softpub.dll wintrust.dll initpki.dll in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
When you receive each confirmation, click OK.
After the third confirmation, restart Messenger and try to sign in again.
Clear the DNS resolver cache.
For Windows XP:
On the taskbar, click Start, and then click Run.
Type cmd, and then press ENTER.
At the command prompt, type ipconfig/flushdns, and then press ENTER.
For Windows Vista:
At the command prompt, type ipconfig/flushdns, and then press ENTER.
Wait a few minutes, and then try to sign in again.
